This Corning 96-well black polystyrene microplate has flat clear bottom wells with a 360µL total well volume and a recommended working volume of 75 to 200µL. Bottoms are 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm. It has opaque walls to prevent well-to-well crosstalk, and can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments. Nonreversable lid with a condensation ring helps to reduce contamination. It is TC-treated for optimal cell attachment. Each microplate is sterilized by gamma radiation and certified nonpyrogenic. Individually wrapped and packed 48 per case. Sterile. Includes Lid.
